A private dive is an exclusive, personalized underwater experience with your dive guide or instructor, as opposed to diving with a group, which can consist of up to 6 other divers. Think of it this way: Booking a private dive is like flying first class, and diving with a group is like flying coach. You may pay more for the private dive option, but you also get more, too. Shore Dives

• The dive guides attention is focused exclusively on you

• No one is kicking you in the face, bumping into you, or cutting you off underwater

• If you have a camera, the entire dive can be paced to maximize the shooting of underwater photos

• Get more bottom time / See more of the reef: With a dive group, the entire reef tour must be adjusted to accommodate for the fastest breather. Everyone, unfortunately, must be turned around and headed back towards shore when that person reaches the halfway point on air consumption, normally 1500 psi

Boat Dives

• The entire boat, captain, and crew are at your disposal

• You pick the dive sites you want to go to

• The dive guides attention is focused exclusively on you
